Good Sunday night, and Sweet Dreams.

Oh Good Lord, I’m tired. But tired in a happy, satisfied kind of way. And that’s a good thing.

Sylvia and I shared a very full Knights of Columbus day. She and I worked the morning shift in the serving line at my Council’s BBQ plate sale. Lots of work, but lots of fun, too. I’m really glad she got to spend time working with and getting to know more of my Council brothers and their wives.

In the afternoon she and I went downtown and attended a special Mass at San Fernando Cathedral where the Archbishop honored the Knights of Columbus. I performed with the Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus Color Guard at that Mass.

And after that she drove me to a couple of stores so I could do some shopping, and… I took her out to eat.

Returning home we watched an episode of a TV show we follow then she, rightly tired, went straight to bed. After wrapping up a few household chores, I’m about to do same thing. That pillow is looking mighty inviting!

Good night, everyone, and sweet dreams. I’ll get back to you on Monday.

Good morning, everyone, and Happy Sunday!

At ~07:00 I’m now working on the day’s second cup of coffee and am probably as awake as I’m going to be today.

After yesterday’s rest day (honestly, I could use another) today finds me participating in two major Knights of Columbus activities. I really need to pace myself and not try to do too much work as I’m still in recovery mode from Friday’s yard work. Staying calm and avoiding stress today will be key.

There may be some picture taking opportunities along the way today. I do hope so. We’ll see.
