During the storm that blew through San Antonio last night, a BIG branch came down in our front yard. (A photo is attached to this post for the benefit of folks in the fediverse who have not been able to see it yet.)
Sylvia was out front last night when the branch came down at approximately 10:00PM. I had already gone to sleep and slept through the incident. She didn’t wake me, deciding there was nothing I could do about it at that hour anyway, and knowing that I needed my sleep. (Thank you, Sylvia.)
She told me about it as I was drinking coffee and starting my breakfast in the front room early this morning. When I stepped out front to survey the situation I was impressed at the size of the limb that had fallen.
This morning I’ve been busy taking pictures, calling my landlord, reporting the incident to city services, etc. And now I’m waiting for the Inspector to come and tell me when this will be hauled away and how much it will cost.
So… I’ve done all that I can do about this. Now to get back to my coffee and the morning paper.
A 25 minute conversation with Ricardo Salles, Brazil’s Minister of the Environment, and Stefan Molyneux.
….The good news is that we are winning. Our real opponent is not the Democrats, or the dwindling number of Republicans that lost their way and got left behind, our primary opponent is the Fake News Media. In the history of our Country, they have never been so bad!
