What WAS I thinking?!

Recent snippets from the Random Thoughts file I keep on Drop Box, update during the later part of my days, and upload to a public folder on Google Drive.

13 Dec. 2012 – Thursday

~18:00 1.) It’s been an odd day. Work, good work, has been accomplished in all the areas I set for myself this morning. And more besides. But the amount of work that remains ahead of me, especially in organizing my comic book collection, is pretty awesome. 2013 may not be enough time for me to catch up on all that needs doing. But at least I have a clearer picture now of exactly where I stand, and good ideas on how to best move forward.

12 Dec. 2012 – Wednesday

~17:15 1.) Huh! I was curious about the serious wave of fatigue that’s begun to wash over me until I remembered the big bookcase I hauled up from the basement, then assembled, then loaded with books. It didn’t seem like work while I was doing it; it was rather fun and exciting, actually. But that much physical activity does take its toll now that I’m older and generally more sedentary than I used to be. 2.) Somewhat related to that, the Spurs are playing a late game tonight and I’m wondering if I’ll be able to stay awake for it.

11 Dec. 2012 – Tuesday

~21:00 1.) Pretty productive day: received new wrist watch, new RPi computer, did laundry, worked on CC games, much reorganizing in back room, plenty of social contact, and enjoyed a cigar out on the back terrace. 2.) The rest of the week will be busy, too. Especially with the new bookcase arriving. That’ll make a huge improvement in the livability of this joint.

Ho Ho Ho? – Some Horror For The Holidays

This is a comic book that is not for the timid nor for the squeamish. But if you’re a fan of the flavor of horror published by Zenescope, as I am, this is one Holiday book you’ll want to get your evil little hands on.

Pat Shand weaves together four innocently titled stories (Here Comes Santa Claus, Frosty The Snowman, I’ll Be Home For Christmas, and Twelve Days Of Christmas) into a terror-filled experience with more than a little gruesome death. No happy endings here, boys and girls. But Sela makes an appearance and does some monster-killing, and that’s something we always enjoy, isn’t it? 🙂

Shown above is “Cover B” of the Grimm Fairy Tales 2012 Holiday Edition, the book recently published by Zenescope, with stories written by Pat Shand, and featuring interior art by a number of fine artsts. Those artists who created this particular cover are Marat Mychaels and Juan Fernandez.
