What WAS I thinking?|

Recent snippets from the Random Thoughts file I keep on my Raspberry Pi, update during the early parts of my days, and upload to a public folder on Google Drive.

23 Jan. 2013 – Wednesday

1.) Moving steadily and calmly through the day’s chores, getting things done and NOT being overly concerned about whenever the heck FedEx will get around to delivering my bed frame.

1.) Once again, I’m waiting for the delivery of my bed frame, that delivery rescheduled from yesterday to today. And I’m hoping the doofus FedEx driver is able to get his sorry self here during regular business hours today.

22 Jan. 2013 – Tuesday

1.) And a mystery is upon me this morning. FedEx tracking shows that my new bed frame arrived in Fort Worth on Saturday, and they still give a projected delivery date of today. But, according to that same tracking page, my frame’s still up in Fort Worth. That’s curious. I wonder where it actually is, and when it’ll actually get here. Ft. Worth is one heck of a long way up the road from San Antonio.

21 Jan. 2013 – Monday

1.) All righty. The new computer has just been delivered, the bed frame delivery has been rescheduled for tomorrow, and the machines in the laundry room are currently being used by a neighbor. Work on the day’s chores is underway.

1.) After another long, dream-filled sleep, I’m more than a little excited about the day ahead. Both a new computer and a new bed frame should be delivered. I’ll allow a few days to get them both set up the way I want.

One Happy Cavewoman – comic book art from Cavewoman: Gangster #3

This full-page graphic panel is found at the back of the comic book, after the story’s end, and is probably unrelated to the story itself. However, I hope it’s a sign of things to come in the always evolving saga of Meream, the Cavewoman. The ending of the three-issue mini-series, Cavewoman: Gangster, provides a perfect opportunity to leave the town of Marshville and all it’s sappy, soap opera characters behind, and let our heroine return to what she does best: cavorting in the jungle with Klyde, the super gorilla, and her little dinosaur friends.
