17 Mar 2013 – Sunday
1.) New responsibilities at the Cathedral offices will have me being at work or on-call at 09:00 on Monday mornings from now on, so I hope the Sandman brings me a good and early sleep tonight. I need to be ready tomorrow!
1.) Back from La Villita. Man, the crowd control over there was really poor! large stretches of near emptiness then other bottle-neck situations where the sidewalk was so crowded no one could pass. VERY poor management! Needless to say, I didn’t stick around there very long.
1.) The full day’s work with the K of C over at the Cathedral has just ended, I’ve returned home to grab a bite of brunch, and am now headed over to La Villita to enjoy some of the afternoon’s St. Pat’s Day festivities.
16 Mar 2013 – Saturday
1.) I should have put head to pillow half an hour ago, but this darned Spurs game is too exciting to let go. Man!
1.) It’s been a good, busy Saturday. And I have a Spurs game on the radio to help me relax into the evening.
2.) Hope I get to sleep early and well tonight. Tomorrow will find me busy with K of C work over at the Cathedral for 5 hours, from 09:00 to 14:00. Allowing for the 2 hours it always takes me to wake up, then prep time before work over there starts… dang, I’d better be up early!
1.) Happily I’m able to report that I survived the “Ides of March” yesterday without suffering any serious mishaps.
2.) Also glad that the across the hall neighbor was quiet last night and I was able to enjoy a restful, dream-filled 7.5-hour sleep.
3.) It’s a beautiful day outside. Think I’ll make a quick jaunt over to La Villita and see how the St. Patrick’s Day festivities are shaping up.
15 Mar 2013 – Friday
1.) Not quite ready to put head to pillow yet. Guessing that’s maybe an hour or so away, which would have me looking for sleep at a more reasonable time than has been the case for the last several nights.
2.) Hope both the Sandman and my potentially noisy neighbor across the hall the hall act as they should. Sure could use a good night’s sleep for a change.
1.) Finally watched the final episode of the last season of Fringe. What a wonderful series that was!
2.) More amusement watching the Spring-breakers in town today. Old folks, those up in my “neck of the woods” (mid-60s and beyond) trying to act like… young folks, are actually looking more than a little strange.
1.) Though last night’s sleep was long enough (~9 hours) it was more fitful than restful. And it was preceded by at least a good hour of heavy, lucid dreaming. And the fog from all that is lifting very slowly this morning.
