Today has been spent (when not doing chores or not taking care of business, that is) getting into the Halloween spirit.
I finally caught the last episodes of the first season of Hemlock Grove, the Netflix original horror series. Those of you who follow that show know that season two is wrapped up and season three is now underway. Given how little time I actually have to watch TV, it’ll probably be well into 2015 before I’m current with the series.
And today I finished The Plague of the Undead, the latest novel by Joe McKinney, a San Antonio native who has become my favorite living horror writer. There are four short stories by Joe at the end of this book which I’m enjoying now.
Resting my eyeballs tonight after the reading and TV watching done earlier, I’m listening to Dark Matter Radio, paranormal and spooky stuff over Internet talk radio.
Ah yes, October is finally starting to feel like Halloween Month.
