A quiet afternoon, etc.

With the radio broadcast of this afternoon’s Rangers / Brewers Spring Training game playing through the computer speakers back in my home office, I’m hoping for a quiet afternoon. The weekend ahead will be busy, with a live tournament chess game played at 90/30 time controls scheduled for Saturday evening (this is a game that could potentially take three hours to play through), and Sunday’s Mass and working with the Knights at the Cathedral (another long day there). It’d be nice to face all that relaxed and refreshed. Listening to the play-by-play of a baseball game is one of the most relaxing things I can think of, so all is going according to plan.

In other news, there are some changes made to this little blog: the side bar is now more minimal in appearance, and I’ve begun populating the Links Page with some of the places I visit on the Internet. A link to that page can be found at the top right-side corner of the page if you’re visiting from a full-sized computer, or in the blue Menu Bar at the top of the page if you’re coming from a mobile device (smartphone, or tablet).

Alrighty then, I’ll get back to my game now (Rangers are up 3-1 in the top of the third) and let you get back to your Friday. Later, folks.
