Well! This is getting ridiculous!

An intense thunderstorm with hail blew through San Antonio yesterday evening. Luckily for us, the hail hit other neighborhoods but not ours. The forecast calls for tonight’s storms being bigger and lasting longer. And Friday into Saturday looks downright scary. Tonight we park the car in the backyard under the corrugated steel roof!

  1. Wednesday night, Laurie and I watched an exciting light show and fireworks display from my 6th floor window at Martin Army Hospital, put on by an intense thunderstorm over Columbus. No hail, though.

  2. Lightning can be fun to watch. But I’ve recently lived in places that didn’t give me much sky to see. When I lived down on the Riverwalk I was surrounded by skyscrapers and bigger buildings than my hotel. Now I’m in a house surrounded by big trees.

I’m glad Laurie was there to watch the light show with you. But I’ll be gladder when you don’t have to see such things from a hospital room.
